NHS Sunderland CCG hold lots of public events throughout the year. These events are somewhere we can talk with our patients, carers, and the public and give our local communities the opportunity to share their opinions with decision-makers from the CCG. This allows people to contribute directly to decisions affecting healthcare services.

Sunderland Health events engagement

Learning disabilities health event – 21 May 2018
NHS Sunderland CCG organised a health engagement event, to encourage people with learning disabilities and their families / carers to come along and talk about what a good health check is. The event had pop up clinics available on the day, so people had the opportunity to see how healthy they are, as well as finding out what support is available. Sunderland maternity voices partnership: Family maternity event 29th September 2018

Sunderland Urgent Care events
NHS Sunderland CCG held a public consultation between Wednesday 9 May to Sunday 2 September 2018. The CCG held 16 public consultation events where 173 people were engaged with. The CCG also held 2 dedicated online question and answer events, which reached 1971 people via live stream.
